Yes! Savvi Wear period swimwear is specifically designed for swimming while you're on your period. Many customers wear it on light-to-moderate-flow days or as backup protection on heavier days.
Will Savvi Wear swimwear leak in the water?
Our swimwear is designed with multiple protective layers to help absorb menstrual flow and reduce the risk of leaks. For heavier flow days, some customers choose to pair it with another menstrual product for added confidence.
How much flow can Savvi Wear swimwear and underwear hold?
Absorbency varies by
style:• Savvi Wear Swimwear: up to 15ml (approximately 3 tampons)
• Teen Bikini Brief: up to 15ml (approximately 3 tampons)
• Teen Hipster Brief: up to 30ml (approximately 6 tampons)
• Teen Overnight Boyshort: up to 40ml (approximately 8 tampons)
• Seamless Brief: up to 20ml (approximately 4 tampons)
• Lace Brief: up to 30ml (approximately 6 tampons)
How do I wash Savvi Wear period underwear and swimwear?
Rinse in cold water after use, then machine wash on a cold, gentle cycle, using a mesh laundry bag. Avoid fabric softeners and bleach. Hang dry for best results.
Are Savvi Wear swimwear and underwear products PFAS-free?
Fabrics used in our swimwear have been independently tested by SGS for 630 PFAS
